Domaine de La Bertrandie is situated in the south of the gorgeous region of Aveyron, close to the border with Tarn and the beautiful southern cities of Toulouse, Montpellier and Carcassonne. It lies an hour south of the dramatic landscapes of the Dordogne and is also within reach of Les Cevennes, Grands Causses and Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Parks to the south which feature outstanding rugged scenery with gorges, valleys, rivers, quaint stone villages and beautiful historic Châteaux at every turn. 

The estate is a beautifully renovated country mas in the romantic rustic style typical of the south of France, making it ideal for destination weddings as it truly encapsulates what many couples look for when choosing their dream wedding venue. 

The Domaine consists of the main Manoir, which is a four-storey manor house in light stone with traditional shutters and a large balcony overlooking the hills beyond. There is also La Châtaigne, our gite which has been recently renovated from one of the domaine’s outbuildings. In 2022, restoration of the Grand Events Barn was also completed to create an unforgettable space for your celebrations. Its extensive size means that it can accommodate weddings of up to 140 guests and also has a separate bar and catering kitchen area. However, it is a very versatile space and can be adapted to suit smaller weddings with ease. The Events Barn is a very special place with its centuries-old stone walls and wooden-beamed ceiling coupled with romantic twinkling fairy lights and a grand chandelier centrepiece. It combines a touch of glamour and elegance with the historic, rural nature of the mas and wider domaine.

What stands us apart at Domaine de La Bertrandie is our aim to offer full flexibility when it comes to your wedding or event, providing a blank canvas so that you can create a unique celebration. We can help you plan your day using our extensive network of English-speaking suppliers or you are welcome to self-cater or provide your own suppliers and caterers for any elements that you wish. This includes food and drink and we do not charge corkage.

We also offer group holidays at the estate, where you can rent our gorgeous La Châtaigne Gite or even the whole domaine for a reunion with friends and family. You will have full access to the gardens, grounds, swimming pool and hot tub and can be sure to enjoy a relaxing break in the French sunshine in this beautiful corner of Aveyron.
