Getting to Domaine de La Bertrandie
Our beautiful mas, set in its own domaine, is available for destination weddings, special events and group holidays in the south of France.
It’s easy to get to Domaine de La Bertrandie and, despite its secluded location, has excellent transport links whether you are arriving by air, rail or road.
Easily accessible yet perfectly secluded
Domaine de La Bertrandie is located near the small village of La Fouillade, in Aveyron, close to the border with Tarn, in the region of Occitanie in southern France.
Set between the picturesque gorges of Aveyron and Viaur, La Fouillade offers shops and restaurants as well as excellent accommodation options for additional guests.
We recommend hiring a car for your stay to be able to explore the region. However, taxis are readily available for those not wishing to drive.
In the surrounding area, we are lucky to have boundlessly beautiful countryside, historic towns and castles and plenty of activities and things to do to keep you and your guests entertained throughout your stay.

By road rail and air...
Travel by car
Driving to us offers flexibility and convenience as well as the ability to explore. We have excellent road links when travelling down from the UK or from Paris with the fast toll roads. Taxis are also readily available if required.
Travel by plane
Our nearest airport is Rodez and is just a 50 minute drive to the Domaine. It’s perfect for travelling from London or Paris.
Toulouse Airport is 1 hour 30 minutes from the venue and is a large international airport, servicing most destinations and with plenty of connections from Paris for additional long haul flight options.
Travel by train
If you are travelling by train then you can easily get to our local station in Najac, which is around 12 minutes from the estate. There is a hotel directly next to the station and taxis are available for the short onward journey. Another great option if you are travelling from London, Paris or an airport without the need for car hire.
Travel by ferry
Ferries between the UK and France are quick and inexpensive, especially if you are coming in a family group or have lots of extra luggage!
We recommend Irish Ferries to Calais for the best prices. It is then easy to continue your journey south by car.
