Our event spaces
On the estate we offer a range of beautiful locations for your wedding day or special event. Pride of place is our gorgeous Grand Events Barn, dating to the 15th century, and we also have stunning grounds and gardens to explore. There are many backdrops for a romantic ceremony, memorable drinks reception or “cocktail” and a sumptuous wedding breakfast and let’s not forget the post-wedding pool party!
The Grand Events Barn
The Grand Events Barn was recently renovated and can now cater for 140 seated guests.
The barn is over 600 years old and retains many of its original features in its structure. The beautiful wooden beams are complemented by twinkling fairy lights and a chandelier centrepiece to create a style that epitomises rustic elegance.
There is another area at one end of the barn which features a mezzanine floor which can be used for musicians. The space underneath the mezzanine works perfectly as a cosy bar area.
Importantly, all areas of the barn can be configured however you wish in order to suit your guest numbers and the flow of your day. Pretty white drapes can section off different areas for smaller parties or to create snugs away from the main dancefloor.
The barn also works as a Plan B option should you wish to move your ceremony indoors.
In the evening, the space offers excellent acoustics for your band and DJ and there is plenty of space for your guests to dance the night away!
You are welcome to decorate the space however you wish and we can help you find the best suppliers in the area for any additional flowers, decorations and lighting which you might like to use to make the space unique to you.
The Grounds & Gardens
Outside in the grounds of our Aveyron estate, you really are spoilt for choice.
Located behind the Manoir, the gardens, with their beds full of flowers, are perfect for al-fresco dining or for a cocktail party. You can also have a marquee or stretch tent here if you wish.
Surrounding the manor, gite and Grand Events Barn, we have acres of green space for a marquee or for al-fresco wedding breakfasts. There are vines and flowers, apple trees and even a stream. Coupled with beautiful features like historical outbuildings straight from out of a fairy tale and the miniature chapel, the estate is perfect for a romantic French destination wedding.
And, of course, no destination wedding is complete without the post-wedding pool party. Our large pool is the ideal base as you continue the celebrations. Couple this with a BBQ and a dip in the hot tub and you’ve got a guaranteed relaxed and fun celebration in the glorious French sunshine.
There is ample parking for your guests onsite.
The Manor House
With the beautiful balcony as its centrepiece, the Manoir is an excellent backdrop for your wedding celebrations. Inside, use the comfortable lounge spaces to get ready or relax in the cool.
The balcony offers a fantastic photo opportunity and could even be used as an option for your romantic ceremony, overlooking the valley beyond.
